Credit Point System and Grading

Credit Point System

The total course given to students is 138 credits which should be done in 3 years. The maximum points that offered each semester is varied between 24 to 27 credits, depends on the students’ GPA in the previous semester. 1 credit equals to 135 minutes includes attending classes, writing papers, assignments, projects, preparing for test and exams. Students will not get credits for the courses they have failed but they can redo the courses on the short semester or the following semester.

The grading system runs from 1 (poor) to 4 (outstanding). Each student should be able to pass the minimum grade of 2.67 to get a credit in a course taken. The accumulation of the grades will determine the total credits should a student take in one semester.
