Grha

‘Grha’ is a Balinese word means ‘house or family’. The house/family concept then implemented as a system to encourage the kinship among students, through cultural and co-curricular activities in the school after the academic sessions. Every student is allotted a particular Grha as soon as he/she is admitted to the school. The school has 9 Grhas and each house is under the charge of separate mata/pita (house parents). They are the teachers and staff, elected by the school senior management based on their skills and dedication towards the boarding life. Each Grha also leads by a head boy and a head girl for each grade; X, XI, and XII. The success of the Grha system arises from the students’ involvement in the daily activities off the school. Inter-house activities and competitions provide students with many opportunities to develop their capabilities in various fields. The reward and punishment are applied to all house members and recorded in the house point card.The Grha are :
